Why did you choose this master?
I chose to pursue a Master’s degree in Modelling and Simulation for Biomedical Applications Mathematics, because I was fascinated by the potential of mathematics research in contributing to practical applications, particularly in the field of human health. The prospect of using mathematical tools to develop innovative solutions and potentially life-saving technologies greatly motivated me. This program offered a unique opportunity to combine my passion for mathematics with the exciting field of biomedical applications.

What do you consider to be the strong points of the master?
The master’s program offered strong points that greatly benefited my academic and professional development. I gained valuable experience in mathematical modelling, simulation, programming, and biomedicine. The program fostered a multidisciplinary vision, enhancing my teamwork and independent work skills. It provided valuable opportunities to solve real-world biomedical problems using advanced theories of applied mathematics and it offered insights into emerging interdisciplinary research fields.
